So I have tried to upload the tutorial three times over the past few days. Each time, after an hour or two of "Uploading", I get the message "There was an error in uploading your video, please try again". I am not really sure what to do at this point. Any suggestions?

hmmmmm.... well it sounds to me like you just need some more punishment ;-}
I'm not a blogspot expert but you will probably have better luck uploading to a video hosting site like utube or blipTV and linking the video to your blog. I don't know if Picasa or Flikr accept video but that might be worth investigating.
where are you uploading it to? just to the blog? you can also try uploading it to another hosting site like xtube and then embedding a link as well. what is the format of the file?

You could post it to YouTube and embed it into the post.
damn...that's disappointing, was so looking forward to what you came up with...does blogspot have a help center or person?
