Sorry all! Just realized it has been almost three weeks since I have posted. I swear the time just flies. Been super busy, as you could have imagined.
Something interesting happened to me a week ago though. I have been dealing with some romantic issues involving a man I was casually dating in DC for a while. I never wrote about him for a few reasons, the foremost of which being that our relationship wasn't kinky at all. Still, as time goes by I am realizing more and more how deeply I care about him. Of course, it's too late for anything to happen now. Oh well, that's the way it goes sometimes.
Anyway! I was talking with a friend about my situation, and he gave me some unexpected advice; date guys my age. My automatic impulse was "pfffft!". Let's face it, I am RARELY attracted to guys around my age. What's more, I really couldn't see myself being in a relationship with one. Still, it should be noted that this friend is one of my most trusted confidants, and I always hold his advice in extremely high regard.
Still, I wasn't convinced...but then the funniest thing happened. Literally the day after this conversation, one of the cutest, sexiest, most adorable guys I have ever met came into Nasty Pig. We flirted rather heavily, and I found myself truly drawn in by his energy. And wouldn't you know it? Twenty three years old. Now don't get me wrong, I am still hardly convinced that my age is the way to go. It is still very rare for me to be interested in young guys (and for the record, this boy had a boyfriend (yuck)). But, I don't know... The serendipity of it all... well, it just made me reconsider for a second. Especially since I have been wanting to meet someone special lately, it just made me open my eyes a bit to the possibility.

in my work, i date men older than me and totally get off on them... but the guy who has captured my heart is a guy my age... give it a try, there are some sex pigs our age that can give you a run for your money!
Ben, it's great that you are open-minded enough to explore both possibilities. I do not believe that all people have to date others their same age; that's like saying everybody should date the opposite sex. I believe each person should find happiness in another person, regardless of those circumstances. If they like same-aged folks, that's great. If they each want a different stage of life in their partner, that's fine too. It's all about what makes each of us happy.
And don't confuse lust with anything more lasting. You see a guy, your dick tingles, your heart beats faster, your blood rushes, you start fantasizing...all good and natural things. But don't make anything more out of it than what it is. Plus, it's about you, not the other guy. Only in time will the other person emerge as all the hopes and desires and fantasies you have projected onto him slowly fade. That's when the tough work begins. So enjoy the moment, knowing it's not the full story but only the first paragraph on the first page.
you see, my problem is...I would really like to have to an older bro/sir around my age, in between 20 - 33. (I myself am turning 21 next month.) But it seems like dom guys our age aren't too common, I've been on recon for a while now and I haven't had the best of luck sadly...
